- 2-3 tbsp simple syrup (to make simple syrup, boil 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar until sugar is completely dissolved

Prepare the simple syrup: If you haven’t already, make the simple syrup by boiling 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a small pot. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
